Las Vegas Hotels

Imagine yourself sitting on a flight to your Las Vegas vacation. You sit in your economy seat (you have decided to save on your ticket for an additional 2 games of blackjack), uncomfortable and hungry. Stealing the peanuts of the person sitting next to you, you begin munching, and wondering: “What am I going to do when I get to my Las Vegas hotel? I should have planned this earlier!”

Although you have already chosen from your pick of Las Vegas hotels, it can be intimidating to think that there are an infinite amount of things you can do at one of the mega-resorts in Sin City. You have just been served a heaping platter of what can only be described as an amorphous blob of “chicken” and “rice”, but you can not help but feel intimidated about the many different things you can do at a Las Vegas hotel.

From the hotel’s website, you have gathered that there may be live animals, circus shows, casinos, and great restaurants, but did not have the foresight to plan all of it out. Well, don’t worry! The rest of this article will focus on the different things you can find and do at a Las Vegas hotel. Follow these steps and be on your way to a great Las Vegas vacation!

1. Rooms

The wide variety of rooms available for a Las Vegas vacation can be positively overwhelming. There are rooms specifically designed for gamblers, for bachelor or bachelorette parties, for single travelers or couples, etc. If you were clever, you likely picked out a room within your price range at a reputable Las Vegas hotel, in a style that best fits your personality. This fit can include all sorts of amenities, including added features like room service, large televisions, fish tanks (who knows why), and almost any other luxury you can imagine to really make an unforgettable Las Vegas vacation.

2. Restaurants

Look to see if your Las Vegas hotel has room service or if you’ll be required to go to a restaurant for all of your meals. Most hotels will have some sort of eating area, but it will often be outrageously expensive and of a different style or quality than you’re looking for. Of course Las Vegas is chock full of extravagant eateries in which you can lose most of your money, but seeing as how it’s your Las Vegas vacation, you might want to save some of that money for more exciting endeavors. Investigate your hotel’s restaurant and the places to eat in the near vicinity to see if you can find places you’re enthusiastic about so that your Las Vegas vacation will be as delicious as it is glitzy.

3. Shows

There are dozens of shows going on in Las Vegas at any given moment, some of which are not strip shows. If you’re looking to attend a show on your Las Vegas vacation, check to see what options are offered at your hotel. If the hotel has shows you’re interested in attending, you may be able to get a better deal on tickets for staying at the same Las Vegas hotel, thus exploiting your hotel further and getting a better deal out of your Las Vegas vacation.

4. Casino

This, of course, is the highlight and purpose of many a Las Vegas vacation. There are plenty of people who go for the sole purpose of gambling away life savings. If your Las Vegas vacation is centered around this activity, check to see if your Las Vegas hotel has a casino that accommodates your needs. Furthermore, most hotels have some sort of casino, so if you’re not looking to gamble, make sure that the hotel offers other accommodations and entertainment.
