While most people are more fussed by getting a Las Vegas flight into the center of Las Vegas sinning, Las Vegas, with its high concentration of commercial and tourist flights, is an extremely good place to get flight training. Depending on your particular type of preferred flight training, the following list of air training services may help you on your way to piloting certified Las Vegas flights.
1. Elite Aviation
This company offers Las Vegas flight training in a variety of different airplanes. Mostly they seem to operate smaller crafts, but offer certification programs for both private and commercial Las Vegas flights, as well as in sport and recreational interests.
2. West Air Aviation
This Las Vegas flight training program again offers certification in a variety of different licenses, including private and commercial. They operate mostly Cessnas, though they also offer a few, small multi-engine crafts as well.
3. Monarch Sky
This Las Vegas flight club offers a slightly wider variety of training in the Las Vegas area. In addition to flight training in a variety of smaller airplanes, they offer some training in helicopter piloting. Mostly, however, this is a flight club for people who already know how to fly and are looking to rent an airplane for a short period of time, so as to avoid the costs of owning an airplane in Las Vegas.
4. Airline Transport Professionals
This is actually a nationwide company that offers a variety of training options in Las Vegas. Mostly they offer training in smaller aircraft, but in addition offer training in corporate jets and mid-sized airplanes.
5. Incredible Adventures
This Las Vegas flight training is more of a gimmick than true flight training. This option allows the client to film a short movie and get an exceedingly cursory training program in flying L-39 jets, the same jets used in Top Gun. The client will receive some training on the cockpit controls and will be allowed to hold the controls of the aircraft. Mostly, however, this company offers short, edited videos of the client learning to fly a jet, in true over-produced Las Vegas fashion.
6. Sin City Aviation
This Las Vegas flight training is run by a private instructor and pilot who professes to offer the best service in Las Vegas. He offers training for a variety of different licenses, but does not own his own aircraft. Note that if you look into his services, you will have to provide your own aircraft in the Las Vegas area.
7. Airwork LLC
This training is based in both Las Vegas and Washington. This school primarily offers Las Vegas flight training for helicopter pilots. In keeping with the Las Vegas theme, it is often give as a gift in the tradition of excess. For pilots looking for a more serious excursion, they also offer small airplane rental and training.
